Whether you are welcoming a new baby, capture a milestone in your child’s life or you just want to document what your family looks like right now, I know just how important these photos are to you. That is why I have taken the time to research and find products that you can use to display these beautiful portraits in your home. All these print products are made of museum-grade archival materials to guarantee the lifespan of your products and the memories they hold. I have samples of all the products that I offer so at your consultation or session you will get to hold and feel the quality of these products. I will help you through the process of deciding where you are going to put your photos and what will look best in your home at your ordering appointment.
Once your portrait session over, the next step is the ordering appointment where you will get to see your images for the first time. This is an exciting and emotional time to look at the beautiful images we created during your portrait session. We will go through all of these images together and I will help guide you along the way with narrowing down the images and choosing what to order.
You may be wondering how we will go about viewing the images. You have the choice of coming back to the studio for your ordering appointment where we will view the images on my TV. Second choice and one that may be more comfortable for many at this time is virtually using zoom. Where I will be sharing my screen with you. At the ordering appointment the images you see will only have base edits applied which means blemishes and other background items will be shown. I try to show at least 2-3 fully edited images so you get an idea of what the final images will look like. The selection of images you see will be a best from the images we took on session day.
First I will show you a slideshow of the images so you get an idea of all the images you will get to choose from. Once the slide show is over it’s time to start making some decisions. The first round is quite simple. I will show you each image one at a time and all you will need to say is yes, no or maybe. I will single them out into different categories based on your decision. Once we have gone through the images once I will let you know how many you have in the yes and maybe categories. At this point you can choose if you would like to go through them again to either add more or eliminate some.
It is always best to have everyone who will be making decisions on the photos to be present at this very important ordering appointment. This will help everyone get the images they want and be happy when they arrive home for display. Your ordering appointment is also the time you will be purchasing your images.
So, you have now narrowed down the images to the ones you absolutely love and can’t leave behind. Now we get to decide what we will be doing with them. You have seen these products at the consultation or at your session. It’s possible you may not remember all of them don’t worry just let me know and I will pull them out and show you each so that you can make the best decision for you and your family’s home.
These are prints mounted on styrene starting at size 8×10, sold single or as a collection in a keepsake box. I offer three print collections so, if you want a small collection of 5, maybe you fall in the middle and want about 15 or you just can’t narrow them down more then choose 30. You can always add on images too if you choose. Mounted prints are also available in larger sizes for your wall and can be displayed beautifully framed.
I offer beautiful canvases stretched over varying thicknesses of wood to make it stand out depending on your preference. These photos are free-floating and do not require a frame. The canvas is another of my wall art choices. You can order single large canvas display or a few mid-sized or a mix of sizes to create a beautiful group of photos on your wall.
If you just can’t pick out a few photos to display in your home and you need more space, you can always get an album printed up and place it on your coffee table or bookshelf. Pull it out and look through it to remember how fun your session was, and how much your family loves each other. Heirloom Albums begin with 15 images at the same value as the print collection. I will design your album to best showcase your images and you can also choose your favorite photo for the cover and personalize the inside front page. You will also be able to choose the color of your album and display box to match your home style or theme of the session. Images are printed on thick fine art lay-flat pages.
This hanging arrangement features three 12×9 photos on 3/4 inch birch wood. You can add three photos or add words to one of the panels to meet your needs.
The photos and your copy are printed on high quality UV fade resistant material and secured with jute for hanging. Each panel is laser precision cut with rounded corners, leaving dark-burnt edges.
These wood prints are made of the same wood used in the hanging trio’s but are laser cut to a round shape. They can be hung using a key hole on the back or you can also choose to hang with jute secured with studs. Hanging using jute is only available up to size 24×30.
With each piece of artwork you purchase you will receive the matching digital file printable up to 8×10. For example if you purchase a Heirloom Album with 15 images you will receive those images digitally as well. Your digital files will be delivered via an online gallery once editing is complete, and your order is about to be placed. This gallery will be available for 2 weeks so that you can download and share you’re your family and friends. You will also receive these digitals on a flash drive for you to keep. Please remember to back up your files on an external or online cloud storage system for safe keeping. I do continue to keep the files backed up, but we all know things do happen so best to have them multiple places.
You have made your final choices for your display images and paid for them. Now I will take these images and edit them. This process can take up to two weeks to complete. Once I have completed the editing process, I will share the images with you via online gallery and then place your product order. Depending on the items you have ordered you can expect about a 4 week wait for me to receive the items. Now comes the best part we schedule the pick up date. You get to come in and see all your artwork and pick them up so that you can display them in your home.
