My family sessions run almost identically to my children's portrait session. The main difference is that mom and dad are now involved. That gives you an opportunity to get pictures of the whole crew, plus we'll definitely sneak in some lovey-dovey pictures of you and your significant other into the mix, as well.
For my family portrait sessions, I like to capture a healthy variety of different kinds of pictures. I set up both poses and capture candids of each child alone, different sibling pairings and pictures of children and parents together. These are really playful sessions that will not only provide you with some wall-worthy pictures, but also with a lifelong memory.

This family session was so amazing. Cheryl contacted me for a session with her son. We planned out the look and feel of the session that they wanted. Luria was so much fun and made the session so easy. We were able to get so many great images with them together and then some of them individually. These made great prints for their home.

I love photographing in studio but sometimes kids don’t want to be confined and you must try other options. We decided to take this session outside to a nearby park and she had a blast. We took some portraits on the way to the playground and then at the playground I just let her be herself. Children's photography sessions are always a good time. I love bringing out a child's personality -- no matter how young he or she might be.

First birthday milestone photos just aren’t complete without a cake smash. I like to keep things simple. Baby and Cake only for the most part. For Amina’s session we added a little banner to match her dress and then used the letters for one. She had fun with her cake and really enjoyed the session for the most part except for a little bit of time but I got a really awesome shot of that.

The Family Experience
Whether you are looking for a portrait session to document a milestone of your child or looking to get updated family photos I will help you create memorable photographs for your family. Each session is unique to your family, we will plan out what to wear, where we will have the session, what to bring with you and how to prepare your family.
While some of your session will be posed, we will have fun in between to capture those candid moments and show off your personalities. I know that these are the photos you will want to put on your walls or in an album to cherish forever.

If you are looking for outdoor photos the best time is late Spring and early Fall. The weather is usually nice and mild. Another option is a studio session which is a great option for the winter or just when you want a totally different look for your family session.
I recommend scheduling your family photography session at least a month in advance so you have time to plan and purchase your family outfits, choose your location, and get the kids mentally ready.
1. Say Hello
We will work together to plan out the perfect session for your family. I will help you with choosing a location based on your needs. We will decide on outfits for your child (kids only sessions) or for the whole family. What to bring with you to keep your kids entertained and happy during the session time. You can also start thinking about where you would like to display these photos in your home.
2. planning it
It’s time to get in front of the camera. You can arrive up to 15min before your session time. You will get to relax and adjust anything you need to before your session. I will guide you through all the posing.
3. your session
Within 1-2 weeks, we will meet again to view your images and choose the poses you love the most for your collection. Relax and enjoy the reveal of your portraits. Choose your favorite images and order your prints, wall art, or album.
4. the reveal
Your order is here and it’s time to pick them up and hang them on your walls, display them on your desks and share them with friends and family. Now you can walk by, see them and smile.

A fully customized studio or outdoor session for your child or the whole family. Each session can last up to 1 1/2 hrs depending on the session and location we are using.
