Brooklyn Cake Smash Session: Bright Eyes
Estelinah’s mom and I decided to stick with a simple classic setup which is more what I usually do for every Brooklyn cake smash session. Estelinah actually ended up coming in for a two-part session – Family Photos and her one-year cake smash session so it was a long session, but we had a blast.
We did some photos in another custom outfit and a few props before changing her into the cake smash outfit and bringing out the cake. The cake was simple and all white which was perfect with her outfit. I keep a stock of simple wooden cake toppers which goes with pretty much any cake. Kids love taking them out and holding them, a few have even snapped them in half. She did enjoy putting her hand in the cake and then taking a taste or squishing it up in her hand. As you can see Estelinah was very curious and so much fun to photograph.
