I was so excited to meet this beautiful baby boy and shoot his newborn session! His mamma booked bump to baby session with me, so I photographed her maternity session and then we waited for this little guy to arrive. One of the most excited things about being a newborn Photographer is getting those calls or text letting me know baby has arrived and it’s time to schedule their newborn session.
First Photos with Mom
Ahh this little guy loved his mama. Check out how he is looking at he is looking her in the eyes. I always encourage parents to take a couple images with their baby. One day these pictures will mean everything to your kids.
Expressions
I try to do these mugshots at every newborn session that I can. There are times baby doesn’t like being on their back or we just run out of time. These are always a favorite since you get to have images with their eyes open and with these, we can get some great expressions from your baby. They make great storyboards too.
Posed Newborn Photography
I love to do poses and sets that focuses purely about your baby while defining all of those small details like lips, hair and fingers. In some poses we may even catch their cute little rolls.

Mom wanted an orange type of color, so I had this rust looking set and received a new brick backdrop that was perfect with it.

I usually start my sessions with baby wrapped they are a stable in my studio. They are always so cute and allow me to get a variety of props and other images in a short amount of time.
