I had the honor of capturing this beautiful baby girl’s newborn portraits. She had a full head of hair, and she was so tiny. It was easy to fit her in so many things.
She slept well so I was able to get through a few sets without any trouble. She was awake for a tiny bit of the session, and I was able to get some awake shots which I know parents always love. These are always chosen at the Ordering Appointment and are often the ones that get raved about.
While I don’t usually do many extra props like flowers her mom requested a sunflower theme, so she brought in the flowers for the session, and I purchased the outfit and tieback. We worked in colors like mustard and green from the sunflower as part of the session flow.
I also had a new prop I really wanted to use, and mom was interested as well so we added in a little bit of a star and moon theme.
Sibling photos were a blast capturing with her 3 older siblings although it took some work, in the end, we were able to get in a few great sibling images.
I do so many setups during newborn portraits sessions because I love giving parents a variety of images to choose from. This session ended with a gorgeous album that I know the family will enjoy flipping through for years to come.
