Brooklyn Maternity Photographer | Studio Maternity Session
This past year I have had a few bump to baby sessions and I have really enjoyed photographing them.
When you book a bump to baby plan you save on session fees, and it is a great way for parents to beautifully document their pregnancy and newborn portraits to treasure for decades.
For the past few years, I haven’t collected much in regard to maternity wear other than a couple dresses. This year I started adding things like bodysuits and tossing fabrics. I plan to continue to add to these and add more dresses as space allows since I use most of my space for newborn props. I also know of places that maternity dresses can be rented. For each maternity session there is normally 1-3 changes to help get in a variety of different looks.
This first-time mom to-be brought in two different outfits and I added in the tossing fabric for an additional look. As a Brooklyn maternity photographer one thing I love to make sure with my first-time parents is that I make it an easy, enjoyable experience to capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience for them. So, we plan out the entire wardrobe together during the consultation.
I love the look of studio maternity portraits. They are so beautiful and elegant and pulls the focus to mom and her growing belly.
The African outfit she had custom made and it turned out beautiful. The outfit was in two pieces top and long skirt.
The second outfit was more to show her beautiful growing belly. The chains and headpiece gave it a Roman look.
Finally, the mustard silk tossing fabric. These fabrics can be used to create so many different looks.
Black and White Maternity portraits are just so beautiful. It captures the emotions in their photographs.
