Welcome to parenthood. To squeaky little cries and pudgy sweet hands – to stinky diapers and wet kisses and a bundle of love so warm and precious your heart aches. It’s a great place to be and grow with me photography is a great way to preserve those precious memories!
As a mom of two, I understand the awesome blessing that is motherhood. I know the thrill of each giggle and smile, and the longing you feel to capture these precious days before they slip away. That’s why I created “Year One”, a series of sessions during your baby’s first year of life. So, you won’t miss a thing.
The Newborn Session
A newborn session is a time to celebrate your brand-new baby. Babies are usually photographed within the first 2 weeks after birth. This is when they are just so sleepy and flexible. If you missed that stage no worries, we could photograph your baby up to 4 weeks after birth. In my Brooklyn, NY home studio I carry a variety of wraps, outfits, headbands, hats and backdrops. We will work together to style your babies session and get those beautiful portraits you dreamed off while you were pregnant. This is also the perfect time to get that first family photo together as well.
The Six Month aka Sitter Session aka Personality Session.
Six months is an exciting age for photos. This is when their personalities are shining through and most babies can sit up, crawl, roll which makes for some fun and easy sessions. This is a great time to bring in a special toy that has meaning to you or your baby. It’s also a great session to show off cute outfits, bows and hats as well!
The One Year Session
The final session from your grow with me photography plan will be a creative one. Parents usually bring in a special outfit or two. We will get those sweet close-up shots, standing images and show off more of their personality.
This session is also when you can add in a cake for a fun messy, yummy end to the session.
